- Graduates have served their country's military and have attended military academies including West Point, Annapolis, and Colorado Springs.
- Historically over 90% of our graduates have gone on to a two or four year college.
- NELHS has an efficient college advisory office and assists students with career counseling and obtaining scholarships.
- A new 42,890 sq. ft. facility featuring a science lab, music center, computer lab, a beautiful gymnasium, three new classrooms, an expansive library, and a new administration wing was dedicated in 2002.
- The NELHS choir and band are recognized throughout the area for their superb performances.
- NELHS belongs to the Nebraska Frontier Conference and the Nebraska Schools Athletic Association and offers :
