ANNOUNCEMENTS GIVEN ON TUESDAY - 09/07/2010
1. TODAY:
a. Student Council members, please check the bulletin boards for the Snack Shack worker list. We open at 5:00 p.m.
b. All students thinking about trying out for our One Act presentation are asked to talk to Miss Humann this week so she can pick the script she needs.
c. HOME EVENT PROCEDURES:
i. Students are to get all homework and other items from the hallway lockers and from the commuter room immediately after period eight.
ii. The evening meal for everyone EXCEPT football players will be served from 4:00 – 4:20 p.m.
iii. For the home volleyball matches, please enter through the North [gym-commons] doors. Please direct guests to those doors as well. Student keycards will be not work during home events.
iv. Football players are fed from 6:00 – 6:20 p.m.
v. All students are to be in the north gym area by 6:30 p.m. and remain there until the volleyball matches have been completed.
vi. Members of the senior class are on bleacher patrol [clean-up] following the volleyball matches.
vii. Use your time after the matches to get your homework completed.
2. WEDNESDAY:
a. Our weekly mission offering will be gathered following the morning chapel service.
b. Our evening chapel service will be held in both dorms.

c. In dorm time is 9:00 p.m. Students who have not been on the homework list receive the reward of being on campus, but not in study hour for the evening.

c. The spectator van will depart as soon as the football players have dined.

1. CAMPUS LIFE REMINDER: Please have your Bible with you for all chapel services.

a. Knights will hold the morning chapel service in the north commons area.

1. CAMPUS LIFE REMINDER: Gum chewing when permitted for students assumes that the gum will be disposed of in a garbage container, not dropped in the hallway or in the grass or on a sidewalk. Please dispose of your gum properly to ensure that this privilege continues.

a. Christian Worship Supplement will be the hymnal for our morning chapel service.
b. Health testing is being conducted during our morning classes.

1. BELONGINGS IN THE HALLWAY PROCEDURE: Please have all books and belongings out of the hallway by ½ hour after the end of the school day. Whatever does not fit in your locker is to be taken with you. Items that are located in the hallway after that time are taken to the Office Lost and Found. Each item can be claimed for 25 cents cash – no credit during office hours. Commuting students are reminded to keep their room orderly as well.

d. Football team and fans are invited to St. Paul’s, Plymouth following the game for food and refreshments.
e. The evening meal will be served 4:45 p.m. – 5:05 p.m. Spectator and cheerleader vans depart at 5:00 p.m.

a. Brunch is served from 10:30 – 10:50 p.m.
b. The trip to York or Lincoln will be finalized at brunch.

a. If you plan to be a spectator for the football game tomorrow, please report that information to Dean Beckmann.
b. Have your favorite hymn selection ready for this evening’s hymn sing at chapel.
2. TOMORROW
a. The tones will be set to the alternate schedule. Breakfast is served from 7:45 – 8:10 a.m. Period one begins at 8:30 a.m.
b. Students who are here for the weekend are to write out any special requests for the entire weekend, including Sunday trips to church, at the Library desk.
c. Students here for the weekend should also report to Dean Beckmann the information having to do with any meals you do not plan to eat in the cafeteria.
d. Students not on the football or volleyball teams will be able to go home for the weekend at 3:00 p.m.
e. There will be room for luggage in the vehicles traveling to the football game for students going home from the game.
